Goals for Training

  • Increase explosive power and strength
  • Improve linear and lateral speed, agility and quickness
  • Reduce potential for injury during competition

Our 1.5 hour performance training sessions are designed to fine tune the skills necessary to excel in track. The first half of the work out centers on movement (both speed and agility).

  • Improving acceleration and deceleration (improving your start will decrease your times)
  • Stability and balance (proper running position)
  • Speed development (what more needs to said)
  • Lateral and linear movement techniques

The second half of the work out concentrates on increasing your strength:

  • Proper lifting techniques are taught
  • Functional strength training (training for your sport)
  • Programs are progressive in nature to challenge the athlete
