  Basketball/Volleyball

Goals for Training:

  • Increase explosive power and strength (jump higher)
  • Improve linear and lateral speed, agility and quickness
  • Reduce potential for injury during competition

Our 1.5 hour performance training sessions are designed to fine tune the skills necessary to excel in basketball or volleyball. The first half of the work out centers on movement (both speed and agility).

  • Improving acceleration and deceleration (cover the court faster)
  • Stability and balance (get to the ball in proper position)
  • Speed development
  • Lateral and linear movement techniques(play better defense)

The second half of the work out concentrates on increasing your strength:

  • Proper lifting techniques are taught
  • Functional strength training (increase lower body strength to increase your vertical jump and increase upper body strength to help you get into and hold your position)
  • Programs are progressive in nature to challenge the athlete
